NATASHA NORTH

Okay so I think pretty much every gig I've been to so far I've said that the venue is wickeddd, or the coolest one I've been to, but this one has to be the most original....

Located in St Pancras Old Church - yep the church... It felt a little weird sipping on a tinny (stella cidre to be precise) whilst appreciating the vocals from Miss North, however once over that feeling, it was clear to see that the crowd were HUGELY supportive and warm towards Natasha, with some die-hard fans singing along in the front row!

Hearts as stamps for the Three Counties team...

This headline show was truly atmospheric, such a warm and amazing feel, with a really mixed crowd of young fans, to some more mature ones - all the way to my parents age! (And they're pretty old, soz ma n pa).

Highlights have to include the performance with her choir of her latest single 'Fire' which you can catch a glimpse of here and her 'unstripped' (her words) or rather, totally stripped back, encore song 'Last Goodbye' which you can check out a snippet of here.

She's been tipped this week for her track 'Fire' by BBC Three Counties introducing, (repping Bucks - woo!) and the video for it premieres TOMORROW (Weds 26th Nov), so be sure not to miss it....!

Her EP 'Fire' is available right now on: iTunes

'Gather and Run' is the first track I ever heard of hers, so check it out here:

She has since come into BBC 3 Counties on the introducing show, and managed to nab a picture with her then!

TipTipTip.

Tip of the week!

This week it most definitely has to go to the dynamic duo that is:

ONE BIT, with their brand spankin' new track: 'Won't Hold Back'

take a lil listen hereeeee:

Was lucky enough to meet these guys at BBC Three Counties, and was then invited along to one of their gigs in KOKO (coolest club/venue ever... but I got very lost at one point amongst some theater seats I'm pretty sure.. confusing!)

Anyway, wicked guys and ACE performance! Loved it!!!

Fifi Rong. Naomi Scott. The Barfly Camden.

Last Wednesday I made it down to Camden to see Fifi Rong's headline gig at The Barfly.

Naomi Scott

Support from Londoner Naomi Scott came as a total surprise - not only did she look gorgeous, more importantly her voice was incredible too. She was absolutely stunning, and blew us all away with her beaut set, including songs from her brand spankin' new, DEBUT EP: Invisible Division which is available on iTunes: HERE. So of courseeee she has to be my tip of the week!
TIP OF THE WEEK: Naomi Scott 'Say Nothing'
Which you can check out live here:

She had the perfect blend of upbeat, lively songs, and slower ones too, I'm totally convinced by her as an artist, let's hope she hits it big time soon! Watch this space....

PS. congrats to her and her lovely footballer man tying the knot this summer!

Fifi Rong

Whilst I was presenting Spark Undiscovered, Fifi featured many a time, even as one of my very first tips of the week, with the title track of her EP Next Pursuit. She was kind enough to personally invite me down to the Barfly, so of course I couldn't refuse!

Her tracks are dark and sultry with a distinct oriental flair which I LOVE, and her set was simply mesmerising - truly one of the most unique acts I have come across.

Her EP Next Pursuit is out now, available on iTunes HERE or on BandCamp: fifirong.bandcamp.com
